Season 2, Episode 9

Alan Stanford

Actor and Director, Alan Stanford, comes on the show this week to talk to us about his teachers, his career, his favourite plays and performances, and finally, his favourite music.

He speaks fondly of his time in Ireland working in theatre in venues like the Gate, the Abbey, The Project Arts centre and many others, as well as appearing in many films and television shows.

He now runs a theatre in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and chats openly about how art and life and the people he has met have influenced his experience and career.

This was a wonderful chat.

The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art

The Estorick Collection of Modern Italian Art opened in London in 1998.

There we met Marco! What a nice guy.

The London gallery displays amazing Italian artists (Balla, Boccioni and Sironi… and many more) so if you are in London and have time, definitely pop into them. It is well worth the visit.
