If All Things Looked the Same

Happy Poetry

If All Things Looked the Same

by Anonymous aged 9

If all things looked the same, how unhappy Life would be, If cows looked like Horses, and bananas like the sea;

If boys and girls looked just the same, and if my sister looked like me, If frogs could look like people, how boring life would be;

We couldn’t climb up mountains, we couldn’t just let it be, I couldn’t push my sister off the wall because she looked like me;

But we are all different, and we’re happy as can be, Dogs don’t look like seagulls and my sister doesn’t look like me.
