Doonbeg Golf Course

We were invited to play the lovely Doonbeg Golf Club in Co. Clare in Ireland… and what a magical spot it is. After a few photos and practice swings (whoch proved better than out on the course) we made our way our to the beautiful first tee. Set right in the heart of the west of Ireland on the Atlantic sea, Doonbeg proved to be a fierce opponent beating all but one of us.

The golf was good, up to a point, the craic was had and there was a few dubious decisions but we had a great time…and a fine meal at the end of the day to nurse our sore legs and weary hearts.

I was ok, because I’m a teddy bear so I don’t appear tired but after that sort of five hour walk, you hit the pillow and you don’t rise for at least nine hours. We were flattened, beaten by the cruel mistress that is Golfing Karma. The accommodation located by the clubhouse is mighty and the bed would fit the eight forwards on the New Zealand rugby team. Donald Trump has this place in fine order.

We absolutely love it here and would recommend it to any golf enthusiasts out there. Get out if you can. Green fees are pricey but it’s worth it in our opinion. Smash the ball, spare the rod…have a good one, TPJ x

LauraLynn Hospice and Emmet’s Climb

Here at TPJ we are delighted to be able to put our full support behind a beautiful Hospice in Dublin. The LauraLynn Hospice is Ireland’s first Children’s Hospice.

In the hospice they provide super important respite for every patient, home support and vital end of life care for some of these amazing children. And believe me, they are amazing…and above all happy.

If you would like to learn more please visit there website at http://www.Lauralynn.ie

One of our friends Emmet and four pals climbed the four peaks in order to raise vital money for the hospice. If you would like to contribute to his campaign or see his adventure, his fundraising page can be found at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/kitty-kelly-4-peaks-challenge Please

Sure donate if you have any spare dolla, support it and learn about the hospice which was only opened in 2011 if you don’t. Hope you all have a nice day, TPJ x

IMG_20140913_153914Sometimes our days are very weird indeed. They were basically playing dress up all day in Dublin and filming something and pretending to be in different places. Looked like great fun but it was very weird to look at…All in this big green room. I just watched and chilled like a teddy bear. Hope all is well, TPJ x

Impatiently waiting…

Here we have the Mr. dressed in his finest suit from his closet, with a little touch of casualness added with his vintage sneaks and cap... Maybe he's waiting for her on the bench where they first met, and she had promised him she'd come back one day.....and so he impatiently awaits... or maybe he just wanted to look extra fine when he left his house that morning possibilities are endless my dears, so imagination is key!

Life’s Wanderings

Central Park, New York City, July 2014
Central Park, New York City, July 2014

As one ponders life as one naturally does, in between the bursts of stress and ongojngs, one sometimes get an opportunity to breathe in deeply and think. Many of us fill up our time with more activities and memories, for others the verb to chill takes on a powerful new meaning. Whatever your choice, for both groups, their time flies…by proverbial definition.

For us here at TPJ, we are trying to develop the art of seeing beauty and capturing moments. A lot are humourous. We figure it’s because that is the persona that people tend to wish to convey when being photographed or ask to recall a tale of their choice. When asked to reflect on a memory, they tend to immediately try to go back to a happy one.

With the world so full of happy stories, we try to capture life’s happiest memories and then tell a friend about them. After all, life tends to slip and and people never tend to remain stationary for very long. Stagnation has become negative when once is was seen as serene and peaceful. They leave or breakaway or distance takes their words from your ear in pursuit of a better life…wherever that may be. Hardship is rarely appreciated. But…A few years ago one couldn’t even imagine seeing the other person you are talking to on the phone right in front of you or getting images of their view or bedroom five thousand kilometres away. Technology is brilliant, we try use it to make others smile.

We can’t really understand life with headphones in and sunglasses on…it seems so lonely. Especially when others are so willing to tell you their funny story from years or days ago.

Make sure you smile at everyone else. It might cheer them up too. Have fun today…Tomorrow is tomorrow and tomorrow…TPJ x
