What up everyone…

Here are some progress photos of the Old Firestation which I think is opening in Limerick fairly soon. Here’s us three weeks ago…

Looks slick, doesn’t it?

Wait until you see it in a few weeks time! Can’t wait for the opening. I better be invited and get some feckin grub.

Vegan food is tasty,

Best Wishes for the Week all you wonderful people,

Lady in Shop

Lady in Shop.jpg

This lady in Biarritz, France told me she just worked and worked and worked. And she loved getting up in the morning  and going to work.

She worked in this little shop, under a bridge that couldn’t have been more than 6m x 6m and she had it bursting with colour. She didn’t care about the dolla, she cared about her shop’s aura.

So I bought a t-shirt off her, took a photo and said thank you.

It reminded me of a photo I took in Kinsale about three years ago called Life is Wonderful.

Life is great when you wake up with a purpose,

Have a lovely week,

Met Judy on Friday in Dublin, she’s a lovely person and we went to a party. The Limerick model was super nice and friendly.

Have a nice Sunday y’all, these weekends go waaaaay too quickly.

The Granary, Limerick City

I had the pleasure to attend a night in the Granary/Habitat last Saturday night. It’s a cool spot and the staff are all hardworking and smiling. I had fun there…

I’m not one for long verbose posts so I’ll keep it mainly to photos to tell the story of the night.

I started in the main bar and restaurant. They were packed with Christmas parties and diners. The place seems classy and relaxed with good aul Kevin running around organising everything.

Phil Geraghty, who’s brain child this triple venue was, has done an extremely good job in creating the venues to compliment each other yet still remain individual.

So everyone was having a good time, then a seriously good band came out, The Socialites. They are an in-house band created specifically for Habitat. They are made up of Jane Fraser, Mike Hogan, Cein Daly, Martin Atkinson and Bart Kiely. I spent most of my time photographing and chatting to them to be honest. I love live music played well.

Some of the shots turned out really well and they were nice, talented guys…

I then went into the club. Clubs are good for meeting people and dancing…so that’s what I did.

We had the craic anyway…

Went into SoCo 2 and met the talented lads from Bunga Bunga and the Parisian legend of a DJ who played later in the night.

All in All, I had a lot of fun…as did many other people. Check it out it you have time.

Fair dues to Phil for imagining and creating a place in Limerick which is so well received and loved.

Have a good day all,

If you worry, you only suffer twice.
